Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a bread loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly mix the mashed bananas, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add the eggs to the mixture and beat until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and optionally, cinnamon.
  5. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the banana mixture and gently stir until well combined. At this stage, you can also add the chopped walnuts or hazelnuts if desired.
  6. Pour the banana bread batter into the greased or parchment-lined bread loaf pan.
  7. Bake the banana bread in the preheated oven for approximately 50-60 minutes. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick or a knife into the center of the bread; if it comes out clean, the bread is fully baked.
  8. Once the banana bread is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly at room temperature.
  9. Slice and serve the banana bread, and enjoy!
